Careers at Common Era Diesel

Build Your Career. Work on Trucks. Be Part of What We're Building.

Common Era Diesel is a growing Waukesha, Wisconsin truck repair shop specializing in light- and medium-duty diesel and gas trucks.

We're building a company where good technicians can do quality work, solve real problems, and take pride in what leaves the shop.

We're looking for people who want more than just another job.

If you take pride in your work, care about doing the job right, and want to grow with a company, we'd like to hear from you.

Why Work at Common Era Diesel?

🔧 Work on Real Trucks

Power Stroke. Cummins. Duramax. Gas and diesel. Light- and medium-duty trucks.

You'll work on everything from everyday work trucks and fleet vehicles to major engine, transmission, diagnostic and performance projects.

📈 Grow With the Company

We're building Common Era Diesel for the long term.

As the company grows, so do the opportunities for technicians who want to take on more responsibility, develop their skills and eventually move into senior or leadership roles.

🧠 Diagnostics Matter Here

We don't believe in throwing parts at problems.

We want technicians who understand why something failed, can properly diagnose the problem and can communicate what they found.

🛠️ Do It Right

Our philosophy is simple:

Do it right. Don't cut corners. Pay attention to the details.

We want technicians who take pride in the quality of their work.

🤝 Be Part of a Team

We're building a shop where people communicate, help each other and take responsibility for the work leaving the building.
